Uyenpere itentye artwe-le akeme-le irrtyarte mpwaretye-ke, uyenpere itentye ure alpmanthe-ke akwerne-mele yerrtye iletye-ke iltyele aterneme-le urinpe arle ileke iperre-le yerrtye anthurre ileme-le.
 

Long straight branches from the spearwood were collected to make spears. The branch was pushed through the hot sand under a fire, then the bark stripped. The men straightened the branch with their hands while it was still hot. This process was repeated until the branch was straight.
